Northeast Austin Teen Relationship Program

The Robert Woods Johnson Foundation is distributing
$18 million to nonprofits under a four-year initiative focused on
preventing intimate partner violence among teens.The foundation grant will go to fund The Northeast Austin Teen Relationships Project,,
which will target sixth- to eighth-grade youth.
The project includes educational
programs, youth-leadership training and arts- and theater-based programs in the community.
SafePlace is collaborating with local partners, including the Austin Independent School
District, Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area and Seton Family of Hospitals,
on the project.
